Ukraine’s Infrastructure Ministry is conducting an audit of Ukraine’s transportation safety service, also known as Ukrtransbezpeka, because of serious violations in its work, deputy Infrastructure Minister Yuriy Lavreniuk has said.
“There are problems today involving giving out licenses for international automobile haulers. Meanwhile, haulers do not experience difficulties with neighboring countries. , and there are many violations. For example, last week the chief of the Lviv checkpoint was arrested receiving a bribe. The ministry ordered a thorough investigation, the results of which will be made public,” he told the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news service.
