You're reading: Naftogaz pays Hr 214 million to top managers in 2017

National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy in 2017 paid Hr 214 million of salaries and bonuses to the top managers of the company – six board members and nine sectoral managing directors, while a year ago they received Hr 87 million.

According to a draft offering memorandum for the company’s eurobonds, a copy of which has been forwarded to Interfax-Ukraine, five members of the supervisory board last year received Hr 25 million compared with Hr 20 million a year ago.

Naftogaz said that Hr 20 million was payment for services of the supervisory board members, another Hr 5 million – reimbursement of expenses incurred during the performance of their duties, as well as liability insurance.

Net consolidated profit of Naftogaz in 2017 increased by 48.3 percent, to Hr 39.33 billion, net income – by 16.4 percent, to Hr 187.927 billion.
