The net purchase of foreign currency by the population (cash and noncash) since the beginning of October amounted to $37 million, Head of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Bohdan Danylyshyn has said.

“In transactions of individuals, the prevalence of demand for foreign currency over supply continues. So, since the beginning of the month, the net purchase of foreign currency in cash by the population amounted to $55 million, while its net sale by the population in noncash was $18 million,” he wrote on Facebook.
