Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport in May 2021 served 77,530 passengers, which is almost 66.7% less than in the pre-crisis May 2019 (some 229,400 passengers).
At the same time, the infographics on the airport’s website indicate that in May this year, the largest passenger traffic was recorded since March 2020, when 78,900 passengers were served (in April-May last year, flights from Kyiv airport were not carried out).
In just five months of 2021, the airport served 219,800 passengers: international routes – 207,900 passengers, domestic routes – 11,900 passengers.
Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport is located in the business center of the capital, 7 km from the city center. It ranks second in Ukraine in terms of the number of flights and passenger traffic.
