LONDON, UK – Oil prices rose on Aug. 29, extending gains on growing evidence of disruptions to crude supply from Iran and Venezuela and after a fall in United States crude inventories.
Benchmark Brent crude oil LCOc1 was up 60 cents a barrel at $77.74 by 01:20 pm GMT. U.S. light crude CLc1 was 40 cents higher at $69.91.
