Ukraine has failed to offer a “justiciable” or court-ready defense for not paying back $3 billion lent to it by Russia in 2013, a British court ruled on March 29, refusing to send the case to a full trial.
This included a claim that non-payment was a countermeasure against Russian interference with its sovereignty.
