You're reading: SCM sends Hr 1.32 billion for blocking stakes in three energy companies to national budget

Funds from the sale of three 25 percent stakes in public joint-stock companies Kyivenergo, Zakhidenergo and Donetskoblenergo in the amount of Hr 1.32 billion have arrived to the national budget, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) has reported.

As reported, Ornex, part of the SCM Group, purchased 25 percent of shares of PJSC DTEK Zakhidenergo and Kyivenergo on the PFTS stock exchange on August 18 sold by the SPF. The company paid Hr 417.163 million for the 25 percent stake in DTEK Zakhidenergo, which is 20 percent higher than the starting price, while 25 percent of Kyivenergo’s shares were bought at a starting price of Hr 759.633 million.

In addition, on August 16, Ornex acquired 25 percent of shares in PJSC DTEK Donetskoblenergo at a starting price of Hr 143.8 million. The auctions were held on the INNEX stock exchange.
