Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has once again postponed the start of flights to Baku.

“The resumption of flights was postponed to the end of October due to restrictions on entry to the territory of Azerbaijan due to another continuation of lockdown measures,” the airline said on Oct. 1.

The Azerbaijani government issued a relevant document on September 30, 2020.

“In the future, UIA will closely monitor the epidemiological situation in the country, as well as the events in Nagorno-Karabakh, so as not to lose the opportunity to resume flights, provided the necessary level of flight safety is ensured,” the airline said.

As reported earlier, UIA canceled a number of flights to Yerevan on October 2 due to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
