You're reading: Ukraine exports 28.4 million tonnes of grain

Ukraine since the beginning of the agricultural year 2019/2020 (July-June) and as of Dec. 18, 2019 had exported 28.38 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, which is 34.6 percent more than on the same time in the past agri-year.

According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, the country has currently exported 14.3 million tonnes of wheat, 10.1 million tonnes of corn, and 3.7 million tonnes of barley.

As of Dec. 18 of this year, 175,200 tonnes of flour had been also exported.

As reported, Ukraine in the 2018/2019 agri-year exported a record 50.4 million tonnes of grain, legumes and flour, which is 23 percent more than in the previous agri-year.
