Ukraine increases exports of cast iron by 20.3%

In 2020, Ukraine increased exports of cast iron in quantity terms by 20.3% compared to the previous year, to 3.104 million tonnes.

According to statistics published by the State Customs Service on Jan. 12, during the specified period, exports of cast iron in monetary terms increased by 15%, to $922.227 million.

At the same time, the products were mainly exported to the United States (58.49% of supplies in monetary terms), China (21.85%) and Turkey (5.95%).

In 2020, Ukraine imported 593 tonnes of similar products worth $417,000 (in 2019 some 1,076 tonnes of cast iron for $645,000).

The products were imported from Germany (49.16% of supplies in monetary terms), Russia (48.68%) and Poland (2.16%).
