Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Minister of Ukraine Tymofiy Mylovanov believes it is quite possible to achieve 4.8 percent economic growth in 2020 if the government program is implemented and the business climate is improved.

“The World Bank’s growth rate forecast of 3.7 percent is in line with that of the Economic Development Ministry. We also have a more optimistic scenario of 4.8 percent provided that the government program is implemented successfully and the business climate in Ukraine changes for the better,” Mylovanov wrote on Facebook, commenting on improved World Bank forecast of Ukraine’s economic growth for 2020 from 3 percent to 3.7 percent.
