AeroSvit (Kyiv) and Hamburg Airways (Germany) are intending to start performing joint flights between Ukraine and Germany, offering passengers a more intensive schedule of flights.

According to the press service of AeroSvit, Hamburg Airways on April 26, 2012 will start performing two flights per week between Kyiv and Hamburg. According to a code-sharing agreement between AeroSvit and Hamburg Airways, the German air carrier’s flights will be performed under the codes of both airlines.

Thus, AeroSvit will complement own flights with joint transportation. As a result, the intensity of air traffic between Kyiv and Hamburg by mid-summer of this year will more than double from the current three to seven flights per week during the summer season peak.

The companies will also provide transit traffic through Kyiv between Hamburg and dozens of other points of AeroSvit’s international network, including Moscow, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Yerevan, Baku, Astana, Almaty, Kostanay, Tashkent, and Bishkek.
