Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said that the construction of the Children's Hospital of the Future could resume.

“We shouldn’t waste resources. We’ll finish the object in Okhmatdyt, and then, perhaps, the object that you are talking about [the Children’s Hospital of the Future] will get a second life. The foundation was built there, and, in principle, the site is good,” he told reporters during his visit to the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv on Tuesday.

In addition, Azarov said that there would be an investigation into the misuse of funds collected for the construction of this facility.

The project of the Children’s Hospital of the Future charity project was drawn up by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, the board of trustees of which is headed by Kateryna Yuschenko, the wife of third Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko (2005-2010).
