The State Employment Service will organize training for IT specialists in cooperation with a number of IT companies

The plan is stipulated in a memorandum of cooperation signed by Head of the State Employment Service Yaroslav Kashuba, Brain Academy Director Ihor Zakalov, and representatives of the IT companies Astound Commerce, Infotek, and NIX Solutions.

“The memorandum is a framework agreement that will help the state employment service, employers and the Brain Academy training program provide a person, who is unemployed or wants to get a new profession, with new skills, with a chance,” Kashuba said.

According to him, as part of the memorandum, the state service will provide premises in training centers that exist in the regions of Ukraine. Study groups will have quotas for the free education of internally displaced persons and Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) participants.

Kashuba stressed that funds for this project will not be allocated from the national budget. However, he did not rule out that some of the funding might be provided by the State Service for the Affairs of War Veterans and ATO Participants.

“Brain Academy is a program for training specialists that will meet international standards and the requirements of Ukrainian companies. After training, specialists will receive appropriate certificates and the possibility of further employment,” Zakalov said.
