Kharkiv International Airport in January-June 2012 increased passenger traffic by 59% compared to the corresponding period of 2011, to 273,900 people.

The press service of DCH, which through New Systems AM manages the
airport, told Interfax-Ukraine that passenger flow on domestic flights
over the period grew by 40%, to 59,300 people, and that on international
flights – by 655, to 214,700 people.

The number of flights at the airport in the period grew by 25%, to 2,767.

In July 2012 the airport increased passenger flow by 51%, to 50,600 people, and the number of flights grew by 24%, to 494.

Over the period, the airport cut post and cargo handling by 7%, to 20 tonnes.

Kharkiv airport has a runway 2,220 meters long and 50 meters wide,
and two passenger terminals with capacities of 100 and 650 passengers
per hour respectively.

DCH was created on the basis of assets under the name of UkrSibbank
Group after two partners of the group (Oleksandr Yaroslavsky and Ernest
Haliyev) decided to separate their assets.

The group has assets in the spheres of industry, finance,
construction and related sectors such as construction materials and
development.

Among the assets controlled by DCH are construction and developing
assets, the Kharkiv-based Metalist Football Club, and Kharkiv Airport.
