You're reading: Kyiv airport increases passenger traffic by 8.6 percent in September

Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport in September 2015 served 105,531 passengers, which is 8.6 percent more than in September 2014.

According to the press service of the airport, the number of passengers served on international flights totaled 101,552 people, on domestic flights – 3,979.

In September 2015 the airport handled 1,863 flights, which is 9.4 percent less than in the same period in 2014, in particular international flights totaled 1,392, domestic flights – 471.

The most popular international destinations in September were Moscow, Tel Aviv, Dubai, and Budapest, domestic – Zaporizhia, Uzhgorod, and Dnipropetrovsk.

The most popular international destinations in September 2015 for tourists only were Tel Aviv, Dubai, Larnaca, Barcelona, and Batumi.

The report does not include passenger traffic for January-September 2015.

Kyiv International Airport is one of the five largest airports in terms of passenger traffic in Ukraine.
