PJSC Kyivenergo in January-June 2015 saw net loss rise by 7.4 times compared to the same period in 2014, to Hr 539.33 million.

According to a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its net income in the first half of this year increased by 36.7 percent, to Hr 9.057 billion, gross profit – by 6.7 percent, to Hr 300.669 million.

During this period, Kyivenergo received Hr 3.086 billion from thermal energy sales, Hr 3.837 billion from electricity distribution, and Hr 2.134 billion from electricity sales.

Electricity production by the company in January-June 2015 decreased by 2.5 percent compared to the same period in 2014, to 1.667 billion kWh, thermal energy – by 12.8 percent, to 6.530 million Gcal.

Electricity distribution by the company in the first half of this year decreased by 1.8 percent compared to January-June 2014, to 4.352 billion kWh.

Kyivenergo operates almost all the energy facilities located in Kyiv, except for Darnytsia combined heat and power plant.

Ukraine’s largest vertically integrated energy holding DTEK owns 72.33 percent of the shares in Kyivenergo. Another 25 percent plus one share stake in the company belongs to NJSC Energy Company of Ukraine.
