Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Ministry has announced that in December 2011 the country imported natural gas at prices of $412 and $397.47 per 1,000 cubic meters.

According to a report of the economic sector development department at the ministry, Ukraine imported natural gas under nine contracts in December, with a price of $412 under eight of the contracts and of $397.47 under one contract.

The adjustment coefficient used in calculating royalties on natural gas slightly grew in December 2011, to 2.2303, the ministry said.

As reported, the customs value of natural gas imported in January 2011 was $264 and $266.50 per 1,000 cubic meters, in February and March the figure was $263.04, in April $296, $280 $297.58 per 1,000 cubic meters, in May $280 and $297.58 per 1,000 cubic meters, in June $280 and $297.58 per 1,000 cubic meters, in July $280, $297.58 and $320 per 1,000 cubic meters, in August $320, $353.84 and $367 per 1,000 cubic meters, in September $353.84 and $367 per 1,000 cubic meters, in October $353.84 per 1,000 cubic meters and in November $412 и $397.47 per 1,000 cubic meters.
