National Television Council includes digital TV channels in universal program service

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine has included TV channels broadcasting in the DVBT-2 digital format in the universal program package, according to the report from the regulator.

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine has included TV channels broadcasting in the DVBT-2 digital format in the universal program package, according to the report from the regulator.

The council took a corresponding decision at the sitting on Wednesday, July 11.

The list includes all TV channels that got licenses to broadcast at МХ-1, МХ-2, МХ-3 and МХ-5 multiplexes.

Now all providers of the program service should obligatory include a universal program package in their re-broadcasting lists.
