Odesa International Airport from January to March 2012 increased passenger transportation by 17% compared to 2010, to 824,300 people, the airport's press service has said.

The increase of passenger transportation on domestic flights was 65%, and that on international routes 9%.

Last year, the share of domestic flights was 20% of the total passenger flow at the airport. The number of flights over the year increased by 8%, to 14,734.

The total volume of processed cargos and mail more than quadrupled, to 3,214 tonnes.

Odesa International Airport occupies an area of 571.14 hectares. The airport has one runway with a length of 2,800 meters and a width of 56 meters. The airport has one passenger terminal and a cargo complex.
