You're reading: Parliament passes bill on promotion of public private partnership

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a bill on the promotion of public private partnership.

Some 261 MPs voted for the adoption at second reading and as a whole of bill No. 1058 on removing regulatory barriers to the development of public private partnership in Ukraine and investment.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the bill provides for simplifying the procedure of procurement of goods, labor and services from private partners within public private partnership, expanding the list of contracts that can be signed within the framework of such partnership, singling out projects in the framework of this partnership from common contracts for building objects that are financed for the funds of the national or local budgets.
