Ukraine imported natural gas from Europe at an average price of $288.50 per thousand cubic meters in March 2015, up 4 percent from $277.40 in February.

The State Statistics Service said that Europe supplied 1.349 billion cubic meters of natural gas worth $389.309 million in March.

Ukraine received 520.37 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas worth $149.109 million from Germany (average $286.50), 393.977 mcm for $111.263 million from Hungary ($282.40), 236.165 mcm for $69.743 million from Norway ($295.30), 116.413 mcm for $35.163 million from Britain ($302.10), 67.113 mcm from Switzerland for $19.395 million ($289) and 1.,401 mcm for $4.636 million from Luxembourg ($301).

Ukraine imported 3.615 bcm of gas from Europe for $1.066 billion in January-March 2015.

The State Statistics Service did not say how much gas Ukraine imported from Russia in March, but pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz said 924 mcm were imported from Russia in February, as much as in January 2015 and 295 mcm in March.
