You're reading: Ukraine's oil refining falls to 7.256 million tons for Jan-Oct

KYIV, Nov 14 – Ukraine refined 7.256 million tons of crude oil in the first 10 month of the year, down from 9.628 million tons in the same period a year ago, the State Statistics Committee said on Tuesday.

It said refineries processed 1.082 million tons in October compared to 938,500 tons in September this year.

Gasoline output fell to 1.630 million tons in January to October compared to 2.185 million tons in the same period a year ago.

Diesel output also slipped to 2.095 million tons in the first 10 months of the year compared to 2.849 million tons in the same period of 1999.

Ukraine’s six oil refineries have a total capacity of 52 million tons per year but they have not worked at full capacity since independence in 1991.
