UDAR Party leader and well known Ukrainian boxer Vitali Klitschko, who was injured by tear gas used in clashes between riot police and opponents to the language law near the Ukrainian House in Kyiv on Wednesday, is well, the party's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

After the spraying of the gas, Klitschko washed his eyes and was among the protesters for about two hours.

In addition, the athlete sustained a minor cut to his hand by a piece
of glass from a broken window at the main entrance of the Ukrainian
House, which he covered with a handkerchief.

Klitschko has currently left the scene of the protests near the
Ukrainian House, but after a while he is planning to rejoin the
protesters, the press service said.
