You're reading: Kyiv regional governor resigns

Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysiazhniuk submitted his resignation on Monday, the administration's press service has reported. 

He said he decision was prompted by changes in the state government and the abandonment of the previous leadership of the state of the fulfillment of its duties.

The Kyiv regional governor said he promised to fulfill his duties along with his deputies until the appropriate decision is taken.

He also said all education and medical establishments would work properly, and pension and social payments would be made in time.
