ZAGREB — Croatia coach Slaven Bilic says he'll join Lokomotiv Moscow after the European Championship.

He said on May 14 that he has agreed to sign a three-year contract with the Russian first division club. No financial details of the contract were given.

Bilic said last week he will step down as Croatia coach after the Euros in Poland and Ukraine this summer.

Bilic, says he’s "happy and proud" that he is joining "a big club, a big city and a big league."

The 43-year-old Bilic has been Croatia coach since 2006 and guided the team to the quarterfinals at Euro 2008.
