Astronaut Donald Pettit, 57, tested the operation of his iPad in zero gravity at the International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday.

 NASA said he ran a series of random tests and checked the WiFi signal. It did not say whether the tests were successful and whether the tablet was connected to WiFi.

Meanwhile, Russian Cosmonaut Gennady Padalka continued the Plasma Crystal experiment to create a homogenous plasma cloud. He also answered questions of the Chinese central television together with colleagues Oleg Kononenko and Sergei Revin. The Chinese television crew visited the Russian mission control center in the Moscow region. The interview was devoted to the launch of the Chinese spaceship Shenzhou-9.
