At the meeting on July 2, the government appointed Kostiantyn Vaschenko Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Ukrainian government envoy for anticorruption policy Tetiana Chornovol has said.
“Kostiantyn Vaschenko (born in 1972, in the city of Tula in Russia) was appointed Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service at the meeting of the government, behind the back of government envoy for anticorruption policy and without providing a biographical background to check if he’s prone to corruption,” Chornovol wrote on her Facebook page on July 2.
Earlier, Vasсhenko headed State Committee on Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship. Then he was appointed Deputy Labor and Social Policy Minister, and after his resignation he became Deputy President of the National Academy of Public Administration under the president of Ukraine.
