Pechersky District Court has set a deadline for former Prime Minister and Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko to study the materials of the criminal case against her concerning the misuse of authority during the signing of the gas contracts with Russia in 2009, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reported.

The court issued this ruling in response to a relevant request from the investigators, who claimed that Tymoshenko was marking time while studying the materials of the criminal case on the abuse of authority during the signing of gas contracts with Russia’s Gazprom.

The PGO said that the "gas case" consists of 14 volumes, four of which Tymoshenko and her counsel had studied in court in early May.

"Tymoshenko’s lawyer with permission of the investigator photographed the rest of materials," the press service said.
