Kyiv Court of Appeal has upheld a decision by Kyiv's Pechersky District Court on the lawfulness of instituting criminal proceedings against former Prime Minister and Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko on charges of abuse of power when signing gas contracts.
The court on Wednesday issued a decision and dismissed Tymoshenko’s complaint over the unlawfulness of the criminal proceedings against her.
The appeals court said that it had no powers to consider this complaint because the pre-trial investigation had been already completed.
