Pechersky District Court Judge Rodion Kireyev has approved the procedure for studying evidence in the case on Russia gas supply contracts opened against former Ukrainian Premier and Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to the procedure, Tymoshenko and then witnesses in the case will be interrogated, after which written evidence on the case will be studied.

The public prosecutor in the gas case proposed this procedure.

Tymoshenko and her lawyers protested against the proposition, saying not enough time had been given to them to read the materials of the case.
