Kyiv's Pechersky District Court has announced a ten-minute break in its session, as the defendant, former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko, has been taken ill, reads a statement posted on the Web site of the People's Self-Defense Party.
Lawyer Ihor Fomin asked the court to announce a break.
Earlier, Lutsenko asked his wife Iryna to give him painkillers. "While I think about where I can take painkillers, [public prosecutor Dmytro] Loban is asking a witness questions that don’t even concern the case!" the party’s press service quoted Lutsenko as saying
