Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has said that the parliament will work until it adopts a law on pension reform.

"If MPs fail to [adopt the law] by the end of the current session, the session will continue," he said in an interview with the Rada TV channel on Friday.

Lytvyn said that MPs, the Cabinet of Ministers, the president and the National Bank of Ukraine had two weeks to introduce their own amendments to a government bill on pension reform.

He said that the parliament would consider the bill at second reading when it is ready.
