Zaporizhia - The former head of Zaporizhia regional administration Oleksandr Peklushenko is found dead, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's main department in Zaporizhia region has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“Yes, we can confirm his death,” the department’s press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday afternoon.
The department’s official website reports that at 15:05 Kyiv time on March 12 a Zaporizhia police station reported that a man born in 1955 had been found dead with a gunshot wound to the neck in his house in the village of Soniachne in Zaporizhia district, Zaporizhia region.
Local Zaporizhia police and investigators arrived at the scene of the incident to investigate the death.
