You're reading: Pyriatyn cheese plant sees Hr 10.9 million in net profit in 2012

Private joint-stock company Pyriatyn cheese plant (Poltava region), one of the largest cheese producers in Ukraine, in January-March 2012 saw Hr 10.9 million in net profit, while year-over-year its net loss totaled Hr 1 million, reads a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.

The report says that in the first quarter of 2012, its net revenue from sales grew by 67.3%, to Hr 200.5 million.

Its gross profit in January-March 2012 reached Hr 27.87 million, compared to Hr 16.3 million year-over-year, and its profit from operations stood at Hr 15.85 million and Hr 6 million respectively.

As reported, Pyriatyn cheese plant is part of Milk Alliance, which was established in June 2006 as a holding company with share capital of Hr 23.5 million.

Milk Alliance also includes the Bashtanka, Horodenka, Trostianets, Novoarkhanhelsk and Zhurivka cheese factories, the Yahotyn and, Zolotonosha butter factories, and the Varvamaslosyrzavod, Etalonmolprodukt and Etalon Trade House sales companies.
