You're reading: Rada simplifies liquidation of state enterprises

Executive authorities that decide to liquidate state-owned enterprises and those agencies authorized to make such decisions will now be able to fully liquidate state companies.

All in all, 228 MPs voted in favor of the relevant law on amendments to the law on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs (No. 2493) at second reading and as a whole.

Head of the profile committee on industrial policy and entrepreneurship Viktor Halasiuk said the purpose of the law is to simplify the state registration of termination of central executive authorities and enterprises subordinated to and founded by those executive agencies.

Halasiuk said that there is a need for the systemic reform of the civil service, with which the liquidation of a number of central executive bodies and public enterprises that operate inefficiently will be linked.
