The Verkhovna Rada intends to introduce the institution of private court ruling executives.

Some 246 MPs at first reading voted for corresponding bill No. 2506-a on the authorities and persons who carry out the enforcement of judgments and decisions of other bodies.

The bill proposes the introduction of the institution of private executives in the judicial system of Ukraine.

“We remove a lot of bureaucratic procedures, we introduce a mixed system of executing judgments and the institution of private executives,” Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko said, when presenting the presidential bill.

Petrenko noted that private executives will work in the field of business, while family disputes and court decisions related to public affairs will be performed by state executives.

Petrenko noted that Ukrainian citizens who get court rulings should receive the guarantee that the judgment will be executed.

According to him, unfortunately, today only 20 percent of judicial decisions are executed in Ukraine.
