Yevhenia Tymoshenko told the diplomats about the recent events in Ukraine, including "the persecution by the Yanukovych regime of opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko and members of her former government," the party Batkivschyna reported on its website.

Yevhenia Tymoshenko also commented on her mother’s health and gave information on the new trial of Yulia Tymoshenko and "further manipulation by the criminal justice system to persecute the former prime minister and former members of her government."

According to Batkivschyna, the meeting, which involved Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko, took place on the ambassadors’ initiative.
