Tymoshenko wants elections to be held as soon as possible

Batkivschyna Party leader and former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said that the sooner the elections are held in Ukraine, the better it will be for the country.

"The sooner any elections are held, the faster people will be able to defeat the mafia. If the elections were currently held, this would have been the best option for Ukraine," she said in an interview with Channel 5 late on Tuesday.
