Brussels - Yevheniya Carr, the daughter of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, will speak at a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). There may also be a separate debate on Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine learned from the PACE press service on Friday.

Its report says that Carr was invited to the session on Monday afternoon when Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko will be delivering his speech.

The press release also speaks of a possible urgent debate on the current situation in Ukraine on any plenary day.

Among other important events, PACE noted the speech of head of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas.

The PACE plenary session will be held in Strasbourg on October 3 through 7.
