The 16th Ukraine-European Union summit is underway in Brussels.

Journalists were present at an official ceremony Monday morning at a meeting between Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

The summit is taking place at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union.

The Ukrainian delegation includes Head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Liovochkin, Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko, Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara, Justice Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych, and Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky.
