You're reading: Ukraine’s opposition filing lawsuit against CEC demanding registration of Tymoshenko, Lutsenko as parliamentary candidates

The United Opposition of Ukraine will file a complaint against the Central Election Commission with the demand to register convicted former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and former Interior Minister Lutsenko as candidates for people's deputies. 

“Today, the United Opposition will lodge a lawsuit with the Administrative Court demanding that the Central Electoral Commission should firstly reverse its decision and, secondly include Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuriy Lutsenko into the list of parliamentary candidates,” Leader of the Front for Change Party Arseniy Yatseniuk said in Kyiv on Thursday.
