Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed the cabinet and the Presidential Administration to jointly analyze the progress of the national action plan for 2011 on the implementation of the economic reform program for 2010-2014.
"The Presidential Administration and the Cabinet of Ministers should jointly provide the findings, individual names, and the errors that we made.
Then together we will take a decision," the presidential press service reported on Friday.
Yanukovych said that the authorities would take relevant decisions and make appropriate responses basing on the findings of this work.
The president ordered First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andriy Kliuyev to monitor the progress of the reforms: "As the economy minister, you should keep an eye on this issue… We should see where the reforms are being dragged out, and why they are not implemented in certain territories."
According to the president, the Prosecutor General’s Office should oversee the issue as well.
In addition, he said that the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine should also contribute. "You should be engaged in this work," the president told the committee’s head, Vasyl Tsushko.
