Representatives of youth organizations have burned a Regions Party flag in front of Lviv Regional Council in protest against the passing of the language bill that was submitted by Regions Party members Serhiy Kivalov and Vadym Kolesnichenko.

A member of the Student’s Svoboda organization, Vasyl Moldavan, said
on Saturday that the office of the Regions Party was set on fire in
Kryvy Rih.

“So, Lviv residents decided to join the protest by burning the ruling
party’s flag,” reads a statement of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union.

The press service of the union also said that a festival of Ukrainian
songs would be held near Lviv Regional Council on Saturday night.
