You're reading: Families of people killed in Minsk metro attack will get $10,000

Minsk, April 12 (Interfax) - The Minsk administration will pay $10,000 to the family of every person killed in the Minsk metro bombing, Nikolai Ladutko, chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, told reporters on April 12.

The victims’ funeral will be financed from the city budget.

"There is a fund for such incidents. We have the money to bury these people," Ladutko said.

The people injured by the blast will also receive financial assistance, he said.

Ladutko recalled that "a headquarters to help the victims of the Minsk terrorist attack" has been created on the orders of the Belarusian president.
