The two men detained as suspects in the criminal case dealing with opposition politician Boris Nemtsov's murder, are suspected of both organizing and perpetrating the crime, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said.
“We can confirm that the detainees are responsible for the organization and perpetration of Nemtsov’s killing,” Markin told Interfax on Saturday.
Nemtsov, an opposition leader and a former Russian deputy prime minister, was killed in the center of Moscow late on February 27. Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov said on Saturday that two men identified as Anzor Kubashev and Zaur Dadayev had been detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
