Moscow, July 26 (Interfax) - The lifted cruise boat Bulgaria has been positioned fully in a dock, a spokesman for Tatarstan's emergencies authority told Interfax.

"The Bulgaria has been placed fully in a dock of the Kuibyshev Repair Shipyard," the spokesman an said.

The Bulgaria was moved to a floating dock last night with two cranes, after covering a distance of 800 meters, and then a delicate operation began to maneuver it into the dock, Tatarstan emergency situations spokesman Andrei Rodygin told Interfax by telephone earlier.

After the ship is fixed on wooden platforms that are the size of the ship, water will be pumped out from the dock and further investigative actions will be carried out.

The ship will be scrapped after the investigation is over, he said.

The Bulgaria passenger double-deck motor ship sank in the Kuibyshevskoye water reserve near the village of Syukeyevo in Tatarstan’s Kamsk-Ustinsk district on July 10.

According to the latest reports, 79 of the 201 people who were on board were rescued, 122 were killed.
