MOSCOW - The defense lawyers for the Pussy Riot activists will complain the European Court of Human Rights about the way the Pussy Riot trial was organized in the Moscow Khamovnichesky Court.

“In the course of these two weeks, we witnessed torture and regular
inhumane treatment of the defendants. They were deprived of sleep,
deprived of normal food, and were belittled” lawyer Violetta Volkova
said in the Khamovnichesky Court on Tuesday.

“This will also be evaluated by the European Court of Human Rights,” Volkova said.
