You're reading: Policemen from countries participating in Euro 2012 working in Ukraine

Delegations of police officers from countries taking part in Euro 2012 are visiting Ukrainian cities that are hosting the championship's matches.

“Eleven policemen from Sweden, seven from France and 16 from the UK are working in Kyiv,” the Ukraine 2012 information center said in a press release, received by Interfax-Ukraine.

Twelve police officers from the Netherlands, 16 from Germany, eight from Portugal and eight from Denmark arrived in Kharkiv.

Sixteen German policemen, eight officers from Portugal and eight from Denmark are working in Lviv. Seven policemen from France and 16 from the UK are visiting Donetsk.

These officers are working together with Ukrainian policemen who can speak foreign languages.
