You're reading: Brazilian Navy Frigate Constituicao visits Sevastopol

Kyiv, July 26 – The Brazilian Navy Frigate Constituicao on July 25 arrived at Sevastopol and moored near the port arrival and departure building of state enterprise Sevastopol Merchant Sea Port, the press center of Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

During the reception meeting of the Brazilian delegation with First Deputy Commander of Ukrainian Navy Rear Admiral Dmytro Shakuro, the senior officials exchanged opinions on the prospects for counter-piracy naval cooperation between the fleets, and the development of military technical cooperation.

The guests are to visit the Training Centre for Naval Operations to participate in workshops on ship defense and checking operations, and Ukrainian personnel will visit the Brazilian frigate.

Citizens and guests of the city are invited to visit the frigate from July 27-28, from 1100 to 1300 and from 1500 to 1700.

The frigate will stay in Sevastopol from July 25 to July 29.
